About the Event

The PROGRESS Project is pleased to announce the regional online seminar “Financing climate-resilient agriculture: Good international practices and progress in the European Union Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries”, taking place on 10–11 December 2025.

This two-day online event brings together policymakers, financial institutions, agricultural experts, and practitioners from across the EaP region to explore innovative approaches for financing climate-resilient agriculture and strengthening adaptation efforts in line with EU Green Deal priorities.

Objectives of the Meeting

The event aims to accelerate the creation of enabling financial frameworks and targeted support mechanisms that can unlock investment in climate-resilient agricultural practices and value chains.
Participants will:
- Review financing frameworks and typologies of financial instruments for climate adaptation in the agricultural sector across EaP countries.
- Explore international good practices and discuss their applicability in the regional context.
- Identify gaps, opportunities, and priority actions for expanding access to finance for climate-resilient agriculture.
- Discuss upcoming PROGRESS activities related to climate adaptation finance.
