German Ambassador to Armenia Claudia Bush visited ARAR ART, a family-run food processing company transforming locally grown fruits into high-quality natural products sold in Armenia and exported to international markets.
With support from BMZ funded WoW and BMUKN/IKI funded PROGRESS programmes, ARAR ART has introduced an automated fruit washing line that increases production capacity, improves resource efficiency by reducing water consumption, and creates new employment opportunities.
The company plans to engage 65 women, many from vulnerable groups, including displaced women, in orchard management, food processing and production. It is inspiring to see how our support to innovation, sustainable agriculture and women's economic empowerment strengthen livelihoods and build greener and more resilient future for Armenian rural communities.
